Booked by Design™ — The Business Programme for Motion Designers

You're talented enough. Your work is good enough. So why are designers half as skilled fully booked — and you're not?

Booked by Design™ is the 6-month business programme that gives motion designers the system, the brand, and the visibility to attract the clients they actually want.

Who is behind this

I built a six-figure career the hard way. You don't have to.

I am shy. I am introverted. The idea of cold outreach made me want to close my laptop and never open it again. For years I believed that to get clients, you had to be everywhere, loud, and relentless — firing off DMs to strangers and hoping something stuck.

I was wrong. I built a consistent six-figure freelance career as a motion designer — by building identity and proof first. By warming leads through content and visibility before ever reaching out. By the time I did make contact, they already knew who I was and what I did. The outreach landed because the groundwork was already done.

A lot of people teach freelance motion design. Very few of them are still doing it. I had client briefs in my inbox this week.

Booked by Design™ is the system I built from inside an active career — given to you from day one, whether you are just starting out, transitioning into motion, or already working but not consistently booked.

6
Figures. Freelance.
5
Levers. That's it.
90
Days to booked.

The real question

What is the
cost of doing nothing?

Not investing is not the safe option. Every month you stay where you are is a month of undercharging, undervaluing, and watching others get the work you should be getting.

The designers getting consistently booked are not more talented than you. They have a system. They know who they are, how to position their work, and how to stay visible to the right buyers.

The question is not whether you can afford this. It is what staying where you are is already costing you.

01
I am not ready yet. There is no version of ready that arrives before you start. The designers booked six months from now began building the system six months ago. Waiting is a decision — it just does not feel like one.
02
I just need more experience first. You have more than enough craft. What you are missing is not more work — it is a clear identity and a pipeline. More projects without a system just produces more of the same results.
03
I should be able to figure this out myself. So could I. Eventually. At enormous cost in time, confidence, and income. The point of a system is that you do not have to. That is not weakness — that is strategy.
04
I cannot justify the investment right now.One well-positioned project from a client you actually want covers the entire cost. How long are you willing to wait for that project to find you by accident?
"

Commercial work is not about making something beautiful. It is about making something that works.

The framework

The Booked OS™

Five interlocking levers. We do not skip ahead. Each one earns you the right to the next.

Outcome
Confident, Visible & Booked.

Built around your life, not against it.

01
Identity

The foundation everything builds on. Who you are, who you serve, and why clients choose you over everyone else.

02
Proof

Your portfolio and personal projects positioned to pre-sell the right clients before you ever get on a call.

03
Presence

A consistent, strategic presence that keeps you visible to buyers and compounds over time. No shouting required.

04
Pipeline

A repeatable system for turning visibility into inbound enquiries and calls into clients. No cold outreach.

05
Momentum

Retention, referrals, repeat work — and a personal brand strong enough to open doors beyond client work. New revenue streams. A brand world that compounds.

You do not need 100 things. You need 5 levers, in the right order, until they are second nature.

Real results

The results speak for themselves.

From DMs to the programme — the same system, the same outcomes.

I was going to charge $400. Paula talked me through it and made sure I didn't undersell myself. I charged $2,200 — and have since upped my prices.

Chris

You're great at motion and business — and this is exactly what I need. How to turn my skills into an income online. The ultimate combo for someone like me.

Majed

I applied what I learned and my last post performed 3x better than anything I'd ever posted before. The methods are already working.

The curriculum

Six modules. One clear path.

Each module builds on the last. We do not skip ahead. Each one earns you the right to the next.

Most motion designers skip this and wonder why nothing sticks. Identity is the foundation every other lever is built on — and it is where we begin, no exceptions.

We start with the work most courses ignore: the internal stuff. The limiting beliefs that keep you undercharging, over-delivering, and playing small. The stories you have been telling yourself about what you deserve, what is possible, and whether you are ready. We surface them, name them, and dismantle them — because no system works on a sabotaging operator.

Then we do the external work: defining your niche, your positioning, your creative voice, and the specific type of client and work you are built to attract. By the end of this module you will know exactly who you are as a motion designer — and be able to say it clearly, confidently, and without apologising.

Limiting belief reset Niche clarity Creative positioning Your designer identity

Your portfolio is not a showreel. It is a sales tool. Most designers have a collection of work — not a positioned body of evidence that speaks directly to the clients they want.

In this module we cover the design fundamentals that underpin commercial motion work, how to build intentional personal projects that attract real clients even without a client brief, and how to present your work in a way that communicates value — not just aesthetic. We also cover case study thinking: how to tell the story of your work so clients understand not just what you made, but why it mattered.

By the end of this module you will have a portfolio that does the selling before you ever get on a call.

Design fundamentals Personal project strategy Portfolio positioning Case study frameworks

Presence is not about going viral. It is not about posting every day, dancing on camera, or pretending you love content creation when you would rather be animating. It is about showing up consistently in a way that compounds — so that the right people find you, remember you, and think of you when the brief lands.

We build a content strategy rooted in your identity and your work. You will learn how to create content that attracts your ideal client, demonstrates your expertise, and builds trust over time — without the exhausting performance that burns most designers out within three months. This module is specifically built for introverts and quieter creators. You do not need to be loud. You need to be consistent and clear.

Content strategy Platform focus Batching systems Introvert-friendly presence

A pipeline is not a list of cold strangers you messaged and hoped for the best. It is a system — a repeatable, predictable flow from visibility to warm lead to signed project. If you have identity, proof, and presence working, the pipeline is what converts that attention into income.

We cover how to warm leads through your content and presence before you ever reach out — so that when you do make contact, it lands. We also cover how to structure your enquiry and onboarding process, how to price and package your services confidently, and how to handle discovery calls with a clear framework rather than anxiety and improvisation. You will learn the outreach strategies that work because the groundwork is already done — not spray-and-pray tactics that drain confidence and return nothing.

Pricing strategy Offer packaging Discovery call frameworks Inbound systems

Most designers treat the end of a project as the end of the relationship. It is not. It is the beginning of the most valuable part — if you know how to handle it.

Momentum is everything that happens after the work is delivered: how you onboard clients so they feel exceptional from day one, how you deliver results that generate referrals without asking for them, how you retain clients for repeat work, and how you build a personal brand strong enough to open doors far beyond client briefs.

A strong personal brand does not just attract clients — it creates options. Licensing. Digital products. Teaching. Collaborations. Revenue streams that work whether you are at your desk or not. The designers who build this lever properly stop trading purely time for money — and start building a brand world that compounds.

Honest answers

You are going to ask.
Here are the answers.

No. The programme works whether you are just starting out, transitioning from graphic design or another discipline, or already picking up work but not consistently. We cover design fundamentals, building personal projects that attract clients, constructing a portfolio that positions you properly, and developing your personal brand — all alongside the Booked OS™ system. You need the core motion design craft. Everything else, we build together.

This was built specifically for you. I am introverted too. The entire system is built around attracting clients through strong positioning and strategic presence — not cold outreach, not aggressive sales, not pretending to be someone you are not. If it worked for me, it will work for you.

Most members notice a shift in clarity and confidence within the first 30 days. Tangible booking results typically come in months 2 and 3 as the pipeline lever activates. This is a system, not a shortcut — the more consistently you apply it, the faster it compounds.

Because it was built by a motion designer who built a six-figure freelance career — not a generic business coach who adapted their content for creatives. The Booked OS™ came from real experience in this industry. Every lever is specific to motion design. There is no fluff, no filler.

Minimum 3 to 5 hours per week — the weekly group call plus implementation time. This is a 6-month programme, and the first 90 days are the most intensive as you build the foundations. After that the system becomes more self-sustaining, but the accountability and access to me continues for the full six months.

Yes. Every application gets a real response from me. There is a brief screening process — not to be exclusive, but because the programme only works when everyone in the room is serious. If you are the right fit, you will know quickly.
